To perfect your knowledge of the UTMB® courses, it is necessary to know the times necessary to finish the event in order to be ranked among the finishers.

Time limit for each race

Each race in the UTMB® programme has a maximum time limit for each runner to complete the course. This time naturally includes any stops for refreshments, sleep and breaks. It has been calculated on the basis of minimum hourly averages and should normally allow every fit participant to arrive within the time limit.

The UTMB® : approximately 171 km in 46h30 maximum.

The CCC® : approximately 101 km in 26h30 maximum.

The TDS®: approximately 145 km in 42 hours maximum.

The OCC® : about 56 km in 14h30 maximum.

The MCC® : approximately 40 km in 10 hours maximum.

The other events organised by the UTMB® have no time limit. These time limits are in addition to the time barriers that appear at certain checkpoints. Normally, if you have room on the time barriers, you should finish your race within the time limit set by the organiser without too much trouble. You will then be ranked among the finishers of an UTMB® event.
