CimAlp are fantastic. Despite all the issues surrounding Brexit and buying things from abroad, my jacket arrived just 5 days after my order. The customer service is second to none and I was assisted with my order right from the start. There were no hidden import charges and CimAlp sort out all the tax and import issues. The jack feels great, well made, light weight and very breathable in muggy British weather. I would highly recommend this jacket and CimAlp to anyone.

Initially I found the performance figures unbelievable, but having now run in rain/sleet I can confirm that this jacket is about as breathable as its possible to be and completely waterproof. I'm seriously impressed.

My experience with CIMALAP was great and I feel I have got good value for money. It has not rained since I bought the jacket and I am sure that it will perform very well. My only concern is the sizing of the jacket. I am not slim (76kg, 1.8m) but the medium is very big on me. I'm surprised because the website says it's very slim and advises to order up. I am afraid to send it back to get a Small because I expect that this will be too small!

Received in a few days, it fits as advertised. Very light but seems robust enough, still have to test it under the rain.

Storm Pro 3 H. Nice! Very nice, and it's already satisfying. I'm 5'9', I'm between 63-66kg. Chest about 98 cm. I got the M size. Comfortable. Fits well in the sleeves, even using the thumb loops. On my first outing, I didn't come back dry! I was wet not from rain but from sweat. Focused only on the qualities of a rain and windproof jacket, I didn't take into account that it was also 'thermal'. In the onion dress, however, it was an extra garment and.... I could not not consider it. Mea culpa. In the following outings, I didn't repeat the mistake. The rain, heavy and constant, doesn't pass. The wind doesn't even try. Excellent jacket. I wear glasses and the visor is obviously not enough. A hat with a wider visor, under the hood, and nobody stops me anymore. The idea of the webbing with clip on the chest is valid. When the temperature rises and you need to unzip a bit, it really helps with stability. If I may though, I would offer a little input. You may have already tested and discarded many solutions. I'll give it a try anyway. With the zip a bit open at the chest, the stability of the hood is no longer optimal. It dances too much. The usual drawstring under the chin would be annoying, but maybe a double webbing would help. In my opinion a second one would be needed at the end of the zip. Or a 1-2 cm under it. I think that, with both, the hood would stay firmly on the head even with the zip half open. As for the smartphone, I don't wear it for music but only for my personal safety. I therefore find it more comfortable to keep it in a pocket of the ever-present fanny pack. Happy with my purchase. Super recommended!
