How to measure your foot?

1 Place a sheet of paper on the floor against a wall.

DESCRIPTION

All year round protection and comfort

The new BERARDE has been designed to face the steepest trails and the toughest terrains when trekking.

Its high upper fully covers the ankle and provides a very effective support. It is the perfect pair of shoes for technical terrain and to prevent ankle trauma.

Thanks to their Vibram® CURCUMA soles and multi-directional crampons, they provide maximum grip and stability on both climbs and descents, and are are equally effective on both dry and wet terrain.

The waterproof and breathable Ultrashell membrane (10,000 schmerbers) keeps your feet dry no matter the weather conditions.

Last but not least, the suede leather and nylon upper ensures durability and long-term resistance.

Upon closer inspection ...

- Upper made from 1.6mm suede, developed to provide optimal durability and resistance.

- Rigid stone protection on the front and on the back.

- Built-in Cimalp Ultrashell® waterproof and breathable membrane (Waterproof index: 10,000 Schmerbers) for total protection in wet conditions or on wet ground.

- Microporous EVA foam midsole. This foam is lighter than rubber and absorbs shocks better, providing increased walking comfort.

- VIBRAM® CURCUMA outsole with multi-directional crampons to provide perfect grip on both climbs and descents.

- A central auto-locking hook ensures precise lacing adjustment between the forefoot and the upper shaft..

- Gusseted tongue fixed on both sides to prevent it from moving when walking, and from outside elements penetrating the shoe.

- Weight: 510g in size 40, which makes it a very light model for this category.

Vibram® CURCUMA outsole

The BERARDE features a Vibram® outsole, a leading partner in the field of hiking boots.

This sole offers great stability and precision on hikes, approach walks or steep and technical sections.

It is designed with opposed front and rear 5 mm lugs for better traction when climbing and very effective grip when going down, regardless of the terrain or weather.

Minimum 8mm spacing between lugs allows for efficient debris release, ensuring you don't lose traction.

A climbing zone at the toe provides precise footing on technical terrain or small scrambling sections.
