CIMALOFT® is Cimalp's warmest insulation as well as a sustainable alternative to animal down. Specially designed to face extreme temperatures, it boasts high-lofting, compact, warm, breathability and water repellency. 

DESCRIPTION

INCREDIBLY WARM AND COMFORTABLE

Suitable for almost all outdoor activities, the Himalayan Jacket is fully insulated with our CIMALOFT® padding*, one of the industry’s highest-performing blowable insulation.

Made with 30% biological fibres and 70% polyester fibres, it provides a natural look. Thanks to its hydrophobic properties, CIMALOFT insulation is much easier to maintain than feathers in wet conditions.

The outer fabric is breathable, windproof and water-repellent (DWR coating), which makes this jacket very wind and snow resistant.

*CIMALOFT® is the go-to choice for those seeking protection against cold and wet environments. It traps more warmth in less space compared to types of Insulation, resulting in higher levels of warmth and offering reliable and comfortable protection from the cold. This eco-efficient performance fibre is made from annually renewable plant-based ingredients.

CIMALOFT® Technology

Cimaloft® is a warm and very light synthetic insulation, made of 37% corn fibre and 63% recycled polyester.

It provides an immediate feeling of warmth, similar to goose down, and is also windproof and highly breathable. Unlike animal down, which wrinkles and sticks, Cimaloft®'s insulation properties are not affected by humidity. 

A great alternative to using goose or duck down to keep you warm.
