Silvia Lara Diéguez
TRAIL RUNNING
Silvia started trail running in 2014 the Sierra Nevada mountains, in Southern Spain. She then turned to the vertical kilometre where she quickly obtained excellent results and qualified for the European and World Championships. In April 2022, she became the godmother of the first edition of the CXM Silvia Lara's 21km race in Castillo de Locubin (Andalusia), her native town. An athlete of humble and discreet nature, who regularly rubs shoulders with the peaks!

Why do you feel you belong to the Cimalp family?
I am delighted and honoured to be part of the Cimalp team! The clothes are great to wear during my training sessions and competitions.
Your best and worst memories in the mountains and why?
My best memories are all those moments shared with my friends or teammates in the mountains. My worst memory is a time when I got lost after taking the wrong path and had to extend my departure by several kilometres.
What do the mountains inspire you to do?
Freedom, beauty and team spirit to reach the top.
What is your relationship to the environment and ecology?
I am very close to nature as I live in a small village nestled in the mountains.
Another great passion/talent than sports?
I love eating and discovering new flavours!
