TRAIL RUNNING
facebook instagram

Alexia is an inspiring woman with incredible motivation! Originally from Mont Ventoux, she is a PE teacher and sports are an integral part of her life.

Before trail running, she played handball, tennis, and many other outdoor sports. She started running later on in life, about 7 years ago. Since then, she's been a bib junkie!

In 2021, she pinned up to 30 bibs between June and December. In 2022, our Southeastern trailer plans to venture further into the high mountains, especially with Skyrunning considered an extreme sport of running, with events at over 2,000 meters, on a slope of over 30% and climbing portions... And in her spare time, she likes to clown around and make her friends laugh.

Interview with Alexia
3 words that define you as an athlete?
A true Gazelle! Persistent. Competitive.
3 values that fit you as a person?
Sharing, good humour, humility.
Why do you feel you belong to the Cimalp family?
I recognize myself in the values of sharing and support. And this connection to nature... In short, you feel good as soon as you step into the Cimalp Family!
Your best and worst mountain memories and why?
My best memory? Climbing Mont Blanc with my best friend who introduced me to mountaineering! My worst memory... The crossing of the butterfly ridge while climbing. I was completely exhausted that day.
How do mountains inspire you?
Escape, freedom, humility, fascination, wide open spaces...
What is your relationship to the environment and ecology?
Protecting nature with small daily actions.
Another great passion/talent besides sports?
If it's considered a talent, I'd say clowning around in my spare time!
