WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING A WARM JACKET?


A 3-in-1 jacket might just be the item you never knew you needed. You can wear them as one complete piece, but each part of the jacket can also be functional on its own. The inner layer is best suited for early Spring or Autumn. The outer layer has a waterproof coating, so it's more suitable for rain and snow. This layer is probably best worn in late Autumn when it's not yet cold enough to combine the two layers.

HOW TO CHOOSE A 3-in-1 JACKET

3-in-1 jackets come in different styles and fabrics. The most important thing is to decide which fabric combination will work best for you. The outer layer usually features a waterproof membrane to protect you from the rain. The inner layer is generally made of fleece or a puffer jacket. Fleece provides good insulation but retains moisture. A padded jacket is then more appropriate for active people.
