One of the most important things to do when planning your trip to Chamonix is obviously to find accommodation during the UTMB®. This can be a tricky problem due to the crowds in the resort at this time of year, but there are a few things you should know to solve this problem easily. Accommodation in Chamonix and the surrounding area

Lodging in Chamonix is certainly the most practical and pleasant, but there are many other options in the region, all within easy reach of the famous resort. In the various valleys nearby, you will find many shared accommodations that offer a roof over your head for a much lower cost than in the heart of Chamonix. 

When to book

The timing of your booking is always a key factor in ensuring availability, choice and affordability. Obviously, the earlier the better, but you can also try your luck at certain times of the year when accommodation is more likely to be found.
