Without the right shoe, nothing works in trail running. Because when you walk over hill and dale, you need a shoe that supports you in all situations. We had all this in mind when we developed the 864 Drop Evolution – and much more: we wanted runners to find their way back to a more natural running technique. So land again on the forefoot or midfoot, instead of on the heel. Our 864 DROP EVOLUTION is the ultimate trail running shoe for demanding runners looking for performance, lightness and comfort. 

The 864 DROP EVOLUTION concept ensures the progressive development towards a more natural running technique. The shoe comes with three insoles of different thicknesses. The thickness of the sole is gradually reduced from 8 to 4 mm. The goal is that you gradually land on the midfoot. This allows you to train as effectively as possible – with the lowest possible risk of injury. A concept that is unique in the world.

The 864 DROP EVOLUTION is super lightweight, full of highly effective technologies and combines the best performance with high comfort. The running feeling is flexible, comfortable and pleasant. It convinces with breathability, excellent grip properties on dry and wet terrain and at the same time high durability. Despite its lightness, it offers high shock absorption and optimal protection.

Athletes use the different soles for different training sessions, for example the thicker sole for longer runs. The chromosome midsole allows for improved proprioception and optimally supports the foot, just like the Megagrip outsole. The hollow structure in the forefoot area provides even more comfort. The shoe integrates reinforced inserts to protect against stone chips and is stretchable where necessary.
